Ashanti Douglas, popularly called Ashanti was born in Glen Cove New York United States on October 13th 1980. She is an actress and a performer of in the United States. Ashanti, a teenage singer-songwriter and actress from the US was signed by Murder Inc. Records to release a single in 2002. That same year Ashanti was featured on fat Joe's What's Luv? track as well as Ja Rule's Always on Time track both of which became massive hits. She also starred in films Christmas in the City, Army Wives and Latasha Monteclair. Aitch an British rapper sampled her song Rock wit U for Baby on March 10, 2022.
