Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to achieve a score of 10 in competing in the Olympics. Bela Karalyi was introduced to Comaneci when she was six. Later, she would become Romania's gymnastics coach. First competing in the junior national championships of Romania in 1969, she was 13th. And in 1970, won. In her 1972 first international meet in an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition for countries in the Communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. In 1973 and 1975, she was awarded the All-around Junior Champion. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals at her debut competition as a senior that took place in 1975. This was the first time she had competed as a senior. She took home the American Cup in New York City in 1976, becoming the first woman to perform a reverse double salto, which is an unmounting from uneven bars parallel to each other. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. As a teenager, Carol Wayne began working in the entertainment industry performing as figure skater. Along with her sister Nina Wayne she was part of a traveling show called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September, 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol started her career in entertainment in her teens. As a young girl she started her career as an ice skater with Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Ice Capades featured performances of ice-skating with actors.
