Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress who is best known for playing Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. She was also recognized by her debut on television as Eleni Andros Cooper on CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. The actress has also appeared on 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According to the reports, she's working with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, who wrote Immortals in an adaptation from Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. The actress is currently filming an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
